i) Application form for passport in lieu of damaged passport can be downloaded from our website: http://passport.gov.in/nri.

ii) Self-attested copies of passport's first two and last two pages including all the pages of observation (if any), made by the Passport Issuing Authority.

iii) Copy of passport page containing visa/work permit/permanent residence status

iv) Three passport sized photographs (Coloured Photos of 5cm x 5cm with white background)

v) An Affidavit stating how and where the Passport got damaged (Annexure "L");

vi) Fee of Rand 2425/- (including ICWF Fee of Rand 25.00) is charged for issuance of passport of 36-page and Rand 2825/- (including ICWF Fee of Rand 25.00) for 60-page passport.

vii) Payment can be made by EFT/Credit/Debit Card. Details of the same are available on website www.vfsglobal.com. Please note original proof of payment is required and photocopy, faxed copy or scanned copy is not acceptable).

viii) Proof of Residential address in South Africa

ix) Original passport/documents will be returned immediately after verification.

x) Any other document as specified by the Consular Officer

PROCESSING TIME: UPTO ONE MONTH (Provided all necessary documents are submitted with the application and security status is clear)

Timing for submission of application: 09:00 to 14:30 hrs. (At VFS Global Centre)

Timing for collection of services: 15:00 to 16:00 hrs. (At VFS Global Centre)
