The above websites claim to be the official website for Indian visas/e-visas and appear similar in look and feel to the authorized website for e-visas to India- https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/. These fake websites even provide hotlines or online support/chat services across different geographies in order to give a touch of legitimacy to their fraudulent credentials.

2. It may be noted that services for e-visas to India are offered only through the website-
https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/. Any other similar sounding and identical or similar looking website is fake. Government of India websites operate on the domain.gov.in or .nic.in only.

3. Applicants for e-visas to India are requested to apply online only at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/.
